What is Marketing funnel?

Marketing funnel refers to a customer-focused marketing model that maps out the journey of a potential customer towards purchasing a product or service. The funnel metaphor represents the gradual narrowing down of potential customers as they move through different stages, starting from awareness and ending with conversion.
