What is PageRank?

PageRank - a mathematical algorithm created by Google's co-founder, Larry Page, in the late 1990s. It was introduced as a way to rank web pages based on their importance and relevance to users. The algorithm works by analyzing links between web pages and assigning them a score based on factors such as the number of links pointing to the page and the quality of those links.

The goal of PageRank is to provide users with more relevant search results by prioritizing high-quality, authoritative content. When you search for something on Google, it uses PageRank along with many other factors to determine which pages are most likely to answer your question or provide information that you're looking for.

In short, PageRank helps Google determine how important each individual page is compared to all other pages on the internet.
