What is Shared Hosting?

Shared Hosting is a type of web hosting where multiple websites are hosted on a single server. This means that the resources of the server, such as CPU, RAM and disk space, are shared among all the websites hosted on that server. Shared hosting has become one of the most popular forms of web hosting in recent years due to its cost-effectiveness and ease of use.

With shared hosting, you don't have to worry about managing your own server or hiring an IT team to do it for you. Instead, your website is hosted on a server managed by your web host provider. You also share the cost of the server with other website owners who are also using shared hosting.

However, there are some downsides to shared hosting. Because you're sharing resources with other websites, if one website experiences a spike in traffic or uses too many resources, it can affect the performance of all the other websites on that server. Additionally, since you're not managing your own server, you may have limited control over certain aspects of your website's configuration.
